Young People and Mentoring

Artist mentors work in schools, art colleges, galleries and the Intoart studio to share their skills and experience with young people. Projects are long-term, involving high levels of contact time to develop mentor/mentee relationships and high quality public exhibitions.

Mentoring

‘Practice Makes’ is a long-term programme working with Tuke School, a school for young people aged 11 – 19 years with severe, profound & complex learning disabilities based in Peckham, South London.

Year 1
Exhibition at Peckham Platform of artwork by young people from Tuke School working alongside artist mentors from Intoart.

Year 2
Exhibition and book launch at Camberwell College of Arts featuring a new collection of nine limited edition screen prints produced by young people and artist mentors in the Printmaking Department at Camberwell College of Arts.
