Patterns of People was a two-year programme of artistic development and realisation of a new body of work by Mawuena Kattah. Focusing on the application of her practice in new mediums of ceramics and textiles. A placement in the V&A Museum Ceramics studio to develop new works in clay, drawing on Kattah’s own photographic and research material, alongside research in the V&A’s collections. This new body of work was shared with audiences through a series of exhibitions and public events, a new book, online archive and film screenings at the V&A and at Real to Reel: The Craft Film Festival.
