Ntiense Eno Amooquaye is currently working on a new commission for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as part of their Artists Commissions Programme. Amooquaye’s artwork will be installed in their new A&E wing alongside a number of high profile commissioned artists. The final work includes a new poem made for the hospital. Kensington Gardens features heavily in the poem with references to Laburnum trees, Lupins, Tulips and Thrushes. Over the coming months, Amooquaye will integrate text with a wide variety of new imagery in a final large scale artwork. The work will be completed in Spring 2016.
